A Magical Night in the Heart of Dripping Springs: Tree Lighting 2024
As the holiday season approached, we at NestHaven Properties were excited to join the Dripping Springs community in kicking off the most wonderful time of the year. On Saturday, November 30, 2024, we were honored to take part in the annual Dripping Springs Tree Lighting ceremony—an event that beautifully captured the warmth, charm, and small-town magic that makes this community feel like home.
Welcoming the Season with Joy and Light
As dusk settled over Veterans Memorial Park, just steps from our office at Mercer Street and Old Fitzhugh, families, friends, and neighbors gathered to celebrate the start of the Hometown Holidays campaign. Hosted by the City of Dripping Springs in partnership with the Dripping Springs Lions Club, the evening was filled with anticipation—and joy bubbled over as the brand-new community Christmas tree lit up the night sky.
NestHaven’s Holiday Open House
To help make the day even more special, we opened our doors for a festive open house at our office. From 2:00 to 5:00 PM, we offered free pictures with Santa, and it was such a delight to see little ones light up as they shared their Christmas wishes.
Later, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, we welcomed guests with charcuterie, drinks, and holiday cheer, creating a cozy space for the community to gather before the main event. Watching our neighbors stop in, chat, and warm up together was a beautiful reminder of why we love being part of Dripping Springs.
A Night to Remember
When the clock neared 6:00 PM, everyone gathered in the park for the big moment. As the Christmas tree illuminated the night, the crowd erupted in applause and smiles. Local carolers filled the air with classic tunes, inviting all of us to sing along and soak in the joy of the season. Later in the evening, families made their way to The Triangle, where the holiday classic Elf played under the stars—wrapping the night in warmth, laughter, and a little movie magic.
