Our Day at the Dripping Springs Brewers Festival

Celebrating Craft, Community, and Hill Country Flavor — Our Day at the Dripping Springs Brewers Festival

At NestHaven, we’re more than just real estate professionals—we’re passionate locals who love the Texas Hill Country, craft beer, and community gatherings that bring people together. That’s why we were beyond excited to not only attend but also sponsor the VIP Tent at this year’s Dripping Springs Brewers Festival on a perfect spring Saturday in March.

It was everything we love about this area wrapped into one amazing day: bold brews, live music, unforgettable food, and that laid-back, friendly vibe that makes Central Texas so special.

Beer, Brewers, and Hill Country Pride

Set along the scenic and storied Old Fitzhugh Road, the festival struck the perfect balance between small-town charm and big Texas energy. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with good music, smiling faces, and the unmistakable smell of fresh-poured beer and sizzling food.

With our tasting mugs in hand, we explored more than 15 local and regional breweries—and trust us, the Hill Country beer scene brought its A-game. Some of our favorites included:

  • Ghost Note Brewing – their citrusy pale ale was crisp and refreshing

  • Fitzhugh Brewing – the smooth amber lager paired perfectly with the BBQ later

  • Jester King Brewery – their farmhouse ale had the complexity and character we’ve always admired

  • Vista Brewing – the honey ale was light, floral, and perfect for a spring afternoon

We especially loved chatting with the brewers themselves—hearing their stories and passion made every sip even more meaningful.

Music, Food, and the VIP Experience

Of course, beer was just the beginning. Local bands filled the air with upbeat tunes throughout the day, setting the perfect tone as festivalgoers wandered from booth to booth. The energy was relaxed, joyful, and exactly what you’d hope for in a Hill Country celebration.

Food-wise, we couldn’t get enough. Garbo’s Food Truck delivered the lobster roll of our dreams, and the Dripping Springs Cook Off Club’s BBQ was smoky, tender, and absolutely unforgettable.

As sponsors of the VIP Tent, we had the joy of welcoming guests into a shaded oasis with exclusive perks and prime views of the action. Meeting so many friendly faces—clients, neighbors, and fellow beer lovers—was a highlight of our day. We’re all about building community at NestHaven, and this was the perfect way to do it.

A Few Pro Tips for Next Year

If you're thinking about attending next year’s festival (and you absolutely should), here are a few things we learned:

  • Arrive early – better parking and more time to taste

  • Bring water – stay refreshed between pours

  • Bring friends – the more, the merrier

  • Wear comfy shoes – you’ll want to explore it all

Until Next Time—Cheers from NestHaven

The Dripping Springs Brewers Festival reminded us why we love calling this area home. It brought together everything we value at NestHaven: community, local flavor, and the joy of connecting with people over something we all love.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s festival—and we’d be honored to raise a glass with you again. If you see us, come say hi. Whether you’re curious about Hill Country real estate or just want a beer recommendation, we’re always happy to chat.
